Food Intolerance Test in Potters Bar - UCleanse Holistic Clinic
What is Food Intolerance Test?
Identify foods that may be affecting your health and wellbeing
Unlike some allergies, food intolerances aren’t life-threatening. However, they can be very problematic for those affected. Food intolerances and sensitivities are extremely common and seem to be on the rise. According to some estimates, they may affect 15–20% of the population.
While a food allergy results from an immune system reaction to a specific food, food intolerances usually involve the digestive system, not the immune system. A person with a food intolerance will often experience discomfort soon after eating certain foods. While symptoms of food intolerances vary, they most often involve the digestive system, skin and respiratory system.
How does it work?
The Food Intolerance Test measures reactions to over 200 foods and drinks using a simple finger-prick blood test. Results are analysed by fully accredited laboratory technicians and presented in a clear traffic light system: high reaction, borderline, or normal. This makes it easy to identify which foods may be impacting your health.
- Measures all four subtypes of food-specific IgG

- Receive expert, accurate analysis from our fully-accredited laboratory technicians
- Results listed in easy-to-read traffic light values: high, borderline, and normal reactivity

Why Choose UCleanse Holistic Clinic for your Food Intolerance Test
Symptoms
Diarrhea
Bloating
Rashes
Headaches
Nausea
Fatigue
Abdominal pain
Reflux
When you have a food intolerance, symptoms usually begin within a few hours of eating the food that you are intolerant to. Yet, symptoms can be delayed by up to 48 hours and last for hours or even days, making the offending food especially difficult to pinpoint. What’s more, if you frequently consume foods that you are intolerant to, it may be difficult to correlate symptoms to a specific food.
TAKE THE GUESSWORK OUT OF YOUR DIET
Unlike other tests on the market, we measure all four subtypes of food-specific IgG (1-4) compared to some which test only for IgG4. This is important as it ensures all of the different food-specific IgG reactions are detected.
IMPROVE YOUR GUT HEALTH AND IMMUNE SYSTEM
Your gut is home to 70% of your immune system. You can support your gut health by reducing your “immune load”, and removing ingredients that may be causing it to overwork from your diet.
TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR WELLBEING
Taking a test can help you to take control of your overall health! Within 7 days, you’ll receive your very own ‘food fingerprint’ and you’ll finally know which food and drinks you’re intolerant to. Our results offer a fast track or starting point for an elimination diet. The tests are aimed at those that may have food intolerances, and those who want to optimise their diets by avoiding any foods that they are reacting to.
